In Perú at Arahuayrural community is taking place the OLPC experiment in order to equip with 40 thousand computers but what is really interesting is the political discussion about the possibility of buy One Computer Per Professor. OLPC at the Forum Universal de las Culturas

As part of the Gobernability Week in the Forum universal de las Culturas, we had the opportunity (thanks to professor Philipp Mueller), to present part of our work at OLPC, and show them some of our current projects. It was a great experience because it wasn't only a simple workshop, researchers from Europe and Mexico share their ideas, thoughts and knowledge. We make a very good networking for future projects for the XO and hope with this kind of events to boost the OLPC project in academic and technological areas not only in México but also in other parts of the globe. We attach the slides for part of the presentation that we gave them in October.

Hiro from NBC’s Heroes becomes ambassador for OLPC

Those of you that are fans of the NBC's Heroes can imagine what now that two great ideas joint forces ! Masi Oka, (Hiro Nakamura character) is now ambassador for OLPC according to several blogs in the web, Masi obtained a Belcheror in Computer Science so now we can say to the XO Yatta!.
